Phlebotomy Association Membership
The Phlebotomy Association is open for membership for Phlebotomists who have a qualified certification from a live blood taking course.
By becoming a member, you agree to abide by our codes and policies. These have been designed explicitly around current standards and have been drawn up in line with other member organisations.
To sign up online, you will need to provide:
Confirmation that you have read, understood and agreed to the codes and policies detailed HERE. An electronic copy of your accredited course certificate(s). Please make sure this is clear and legible.

Full Membership
The Phlebotomy Association is available for all certified Private or NHS phlebotomists and Medically Qualified Staff.
- Proactive and dynamic team run by phlebotomists for phlebotomists.
- PA has been working hard to secure members acceptance as healthcare professionals with Public Health England. This has allowed all members to work privately under lockdowns and in all tiers during Covid.
- Have your clinic published and advertised on our Find a Phlebotomist map.
- The PA Kitemarks can be used on your websites, emails and social media, and you can use the letters MPA after your name.
- PA champion phlebotomists and bring members together to upgrade their professional status and recognition and widen their scope of practice.
- Insurance discounts: once you have joined you qualify for our specially discounted Affinity Insurance Scheme.
