People confuse a 500mg tablet of vitamin C for a tablet containing 500mg of vitamin C but the 500mg is simply the weight of the tablet. Pharma Nord list the actual strength of each product not the weight of the tablet. Another example of this is Magnesium supplements which are sold as Magnesium Salts. If you buy a product containing 400mg of magnesium salts the actual active magnesium is approximately only 160mg. Pharma Nord’s 400mg tablet contains 400mg of active magnesium.
